About R2V

R2V is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth by helping them register to vote and make their voices heard. Our platform provides easy access to voter registration information and resources, making it simple for young individuals to engage in the democratic process.
We are passionate about increasing youth participation in elections and cultivating a new generation of informed and active citizens. Through our initiatives, we aim to create a more inclusive and representative democracy.

About Aleisha Sumrall

Aleisha Sumrall is a 17 year old student at Howard High in Macon Georgia. She participates in multiple extracurricular activities including volleyball, Rho Kappa, DECA, SkillsUSA and more. Aleisha founded 17.5 because she believes young people shouldn't have to wait until they're 18 to make a difference. As someone who's always been passionate about leadership and community impact, I created this platform to help teens register early, get informed, and show up strong when it's time to vote. I want my generation to know that our voice matters and that change starts the moment we decide to be heard.

We believe in the power of youth to shape the future, influence positive change, and build a society where every voice matters.
